Twendz is a new twitter search and sentiment analysis tool from the public relations firm Waggener Edstrom (note the “WE” called out in the name) who have worked extensively with Microsoft over the past. The tool is an interesting entry from “WagEd” that adds a dynamic aggregate sentiment measure that captures the general attitude towards the topic. A post from Matt Hurst on his blog points to the possible short comings of this approach. I am just pleased that NodeXL has a neutral or positive rating with no negative sentiment associated with it!
